Precautions for Using Hydraulic Jacks
- Do not strike the top without any weight; when striking with a heavy object, you may hit the top.
- If you can't get it started, check the oil valve (if the paint is stuck, use pliers to loosen it slightly and then tighten it again).
- Turn off the engine and engage the handbrake before use.
- Park the vehicle on a level, hard surface and place a hazard warning sign.
- The jack should be placed on the inside of the car’s side skirt.
- When providing support, absolutely do not enter under the vehicle, and fixed supports must not be substituted.
- Overloading is strictly prohibited; estimate the weight before use.
- Keep the piston rod clean and lubricated.
- When idle, close the drain valve and store it in an upright position (to prevent oil leakage).
